Paying your service charges by:Pay by Direct Debit

Direct Debit

The terms of your lease or the covenant on your freehold will set out how you are to settle your estate or service charges. Typically it will specify that the annual estimated estate of service charge is to be settled in advance 6 or 12 months at a time.

Sometimes it is possible that your resident management company or Landlord will allow you to settle this by Direct Debit over the year. In this case, you may be able to spread your current payments over 12 months. If you take up this option, there is an small administration charge to cover the additional accounting work involved.
